Drop by Service Center, share your story
Service Center for Culture and Community is open Wednesdays and Thursdays 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for co-working, perusing the library, using the computer lab with free wi-fi, and participating in creative projects like Square Share.

Square Share: Be part of our project to gather stories and get to know people who live, work, or visit the Lafayette Square Area. We ask that you drop by Service Center, bring an object that's important to you that you'd like to share (or bring your memory of an object that may be lost), and arrive ready to tell your story. Participants are eligible for a drawing of very nice story-gathering prizes such as a new digital camera and recorder. The stories and objects (or drawings of the objects) we gather will be included in an exhibit and celebration opening May 15. This project is supported, in part, by Eagledale Lafayette Square Area Weed & Seed.

Want to know more about Big Car?
In addition to our Service Center work and our Made for Each Other projects, in 2012 Big Car is busy with several citywide efforts including organizing TEDxIndianapolis (Oct. 26, details soon), producing the city's 48 Hour Film Project, (Aug. 3-5, screening Aug. 11), and participating in projects like Reconnecting to Our Waterways and the White River Festival in September. We're also launching, this summer, a new initiative called the Department of Yes to invigorate public spaces. Play games and get creative with us!
