June 4, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
FreeJoin us as we journey through the little-known histories and oddities of Mass Ave. Discover what makes Massachusetts Avenue one of the most well-liked streets in Indianapolis. This is the first walking tour of the season at that starts and ends at Lockerbie Marketplace! Led by creative writer Colin Dullaghan.
Free and open to the public // All ages
MEET at Lockerbie Marketplace (the green space next to Needler’s Fresh Market). We don’t walk if the weather is terrible.
About Colin Dullaghan
An Indianapolis native, Colin attended Ball State University, earning a degree in Philosophy and then graduating without much idea what to do with it. His first job, partially landed because a principal at Young & Laramore advertising liked his t-shirt, was at 310 East Vermont. After intervening gigs in both Carolinas and contributing to NUVO and the Indianapolis Star, Colin now works as Senior Writer at Borshoff, just above Needler’s Fresh Market. From his desk he can just make out the top of the head of a 38-foot-tall mural of Kurt Vonnegut, constantly reminding him to “Use the time of a total stranger in such a way that he or she will not feel the time was wasted.”
