A free sewing program at City Market! Bring your items that need repair or mending, learn how to do it yourself, and receive a free dewing kit. Get creative and learn how to make your own designs and easy-sew garments, too!

“Sew, WHAT?” is a project of local costume designer and artist, Katy Newton. Join us every Monday night from September 10 to October 1, 5-7pm on the East Plaza of Indianapolis City Market for free, friendly sewing guidance. If it rains, head indoors to the upper mezzanine of City Market.

This reoccurring event is for all ages and all skill levels.
