The Fantastic World of Fiber is our first ever fiber art event at Tube Factory! There will be a fiber informational demonstration by one of our interns, Anna Hopkins. She will share the various ways to process wool and is bringing in her friendly (and fluffy!) sheep to play with!

The weaving demonstration will be conducted by our Program and Development Coordinator/Local Weavestress, Alexis Davenport. Alexis has 3 years of weaving experience and is an advocate for its meditative properties. She will be providing several smaller looms for guests to practice with and a small variety of yarn will be available for use — feel free to bring your own yarn and supplies (if you have it!) to use and share! Remember to bring your creativity and lots of patience!

This will be a fun event for kids and adults of all ages.
