“I discovered knitting about five years ago; one of my coworkers gave me a book, yarn and needles! (how cool right??) One night visiting my parents, i was up late and couldn’t sleep. Thankfully I took my knitting; it was a beast at first but I GOT IT YALL!!! It all snowballed from there into EVERYTHING else!! I just couldn’t get enough!!! There is so much to the world of fiber and I want in on ALL of it! Any and every opportunity I get to play in fiber, I take it! Recently, I taught myself to spin!! I first started with a drop spindle and eventually graduated to a wheel! (both are my babies) Let me tell you…Oh my goodness!! It is so addicting. I can sit for hours on my porch and spin, sip coffee or tea, have a cocktail or glass of wine and LIVE!! It’s probably my favorite thing to do!!”
